Four Newly Promoted Teams from NNL to NPFL

By Emmanuel Oladele - Following the conclusion of the 2021/22 season of the Nigeria National League (NNL), four team have gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and will be competing in the 2022/23 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League. The teams are;

FOUR TEAMS THAT GAINED PROMOTION TO NPFL

1. Doma FC (Gombe) - The team got promoted from NNL Northern Conference A2.

2. El-kanemi Warriors (Maiduguri) - The Buachi based team picked Northern Conference A1 sole ticket to return to the Nigeria top flight league.

3. Bendel Insurance (Benin) - The Team gained promotion from NNL Southern Conference B1 to make their NPFL return.

4. Bayelsa United (Yenagoa) - The Bayelsa State owned team picked Southern Conference B2 only ticket to return to the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The four newly promoted teams will replace Kano Pillars, Heartlands, Katsina United and MFM FC who got relegated from the Nigerian Professional Football League in the 2021/22 league season.
