By Emmanuel Oladele - The Camp of the Nigeria National Senior Women's Team bubbles in Abuja with the arrival of 19 Players out of invited 32 for the upcoming Morocco 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations. The players already in camp had their first training on Friday. Players in Camp are;
Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu, Osinachi Ohale, Tochukwu Oluehi, Glory Ogbonna, Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Chidinma Okeke, Rita Akarekor, Gift Monday, Opeyemi Sunday, Charity Adule, Christy Ucheibe, Suliat Abideen, Chinonyerem Macleans, Peace Efih, Ugochi Emenayo, Akudo Ogbonna.
Expected in camp are; Yewande Balogun, Toni Payne, Michelle Alozie, Amanda Uju Mbadi, Nicole Payne, Uchenna Kanu, Desire Oparanozie, Regina Otu, Ashleigh Plumptre, Francisca Ordega, Vivian Ikechukwu, Halimatu Ayinde, Ifeoma Onumonu.
Yewande Balogun, Toni Payne, Michelle Alozie, Amanda Uju Mbadi, Nicole Payne, Uchenna Kanu, Desire Oparanozie, Regina Otu are expected to join the team this weekend, while Ashleigh Plumptre, Francisca Ordega, Vivian Ikechukwu, Halimatu Ayinde, Ifeoma Onumonu will join the team in Morocco.
The 2022 WAFCON will kick off July 2 and the Super Falcons are in Group C alongside, South Africa, Burundi and Botswana. The Randy Waldrum led side will play their first game of the tournament against South Africa on July 4.
