By Emmanuel Oladele - Enyimba International on Sunday defeated Al-Ittihad of Libya by 2-0 to win the second leg of CAF Confederation Cup play-off and to pass the first test of the Libyan side. Recall, the first leg of the encounter was postponed due to COVID-19 protocol in Tunisia, the adopted home ground of the Al Ittihad, the Nigerian side Rivers United could not gain entrance into Tunisia.

The new date for the first leg that was earlier postponed due to COVID-19 protocol in Tunisia will be announced by CAF soon. Enyimba will need a draw or a victory to proceed to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
