By Emmanuel Oladele - Burnley 2-0 premier league victory over Fulham on Monday night confirmed that two Super Eagles players and two others of Nigerian descent have been relegated from the premier league and will now play in the Coca-Cola Championship next season.
On Sunday, Semi Ajayi was the first Super Eagles player in the premier league to go on relegation with his club West Brom for the 2020/21 league season, following his side 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Sunday.
A total of four Nigerians have relegated from the premier league to the Coca-Cola Championship, two of them are currently on the Super Eagles roster while two other have not been capped by the Super Eagles. See the list below;

22-year-old Joshua Maja a Nigeria International also went down with Fulham, but could be heading back to his parent club Bordeaux of France, as his loan deal at Craven Cottage expires at the end of the season, though, the cottagers have the option to make the deal permanent.
Meanwhile, three relegated clubs from the premier league have been confirmed, they are;
