By Emmanuel Oladele - Rivers Angels FC on Thursday thrashed Bayelsa Queens by 4-0 in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super 6 at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode. The game is the third of the Competition for the Port-Harcourt based team.
Goals from Saiki Mary, Ikechukwu Vivian in the 60th, 61st minutes and a brace from Ikekhua in the 63rd and 87th minute were enough to seal a big victory for the Rivers side.
Thursday's feat is the first win of the competition for Rivers Angels, having played a 0-0 against Delta Queens and a 1-1 draw with FC Robo Queens. The Edwin Okon led side have so far recorded five points in the competition.
After the entire game time, it's Bayelsa Queens 0-4 Rivers Angels, so it ended at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode, NWFL Super 6 matchday 3.
