The Ivorians scored in the 77th minute via Mezia Charles to take the lead and Fatai Amoo led side could not put an equaliser until the end of the game.

After the entire game duration, it Nigeria 0-1 Cote D'Ivoire, so it ended in the WAFU Cup in Lome, Togo.
