Germany Invites Nigerian Player For UEFA Nations League

By Olamide Oyetunji - European footballing giant Germany have taken the bold step to secure a footballer with dual nationality which has become a norm in modern football of this era.

Germany has played a fast one on Nigeria with their latest international move as they unveiled the names of the players that will prosecute the next UEFA Nations League games.

Augsburg defender Felix Udokhai has called to the Germany senior team for next week’s Europa Nations League matches versus Ukraine and Spain.

The matches are competitive and if he is fielded then it will end the speculation of him representing Nigeria in future as he won’t be eligible to turn out for the Super Eagles.

Germany gaffer Joachim Loew beats the NFF and Gernot Rohr by inviting the player and not allowing him to enter the category of Kevin Akpoguma, Maduka Okoye and Leon Balogun.
