By Emmanuel Oladele - It is obvious that nothing has changed in this Arsenal team, when will they have an improved squad like they had years ago?
When manager Mikel Arteta was employed, everyone was expecting to see a difference, but the Spaniard has not been able to change many things in the team.
The English Premier League resumed on Wednesday night after months of suspension due to coronavirus pandemic and Arsenal are one of the teams that featured in the first day fixtures of EPL restart against Manchester City.
The Gunners scandalously lost to Manchester City by 3-0 scoreline in a game many believe to have being a cracker between the both teams but Arsenal lost concentration again as usual.
Goals from Raheem Sterling, De Bruyne and Foden in the 45+2', 51' and 90+2' respectively were enough to give Pep Guardiola's side a 3-0 victory over Arsenal.
In the Wednesday night game, Arsenal's defender David Luiz was red carded by the referee in the 49th minute of the game after he brought down Manchester City winger Mahrez in his own 18-yard-old, a foul which resulted to a spot kick gifted De Bruyne the second goal of the game for the host.
The game also showed that Arsenal's defence is very poor and prone to errors.
When is there going to be a change in this Arsenal team, that is the question a lot of Arsenal fans would be asking themselves.
