Meet the Nigerian Athlete who rule the World and Africa

By Oladele Emmanuel - Olusoji Adetokunbo Fasuba is a Nigeria sprinter who rule the world and Africa years ago.

In 2008 World IAAF Indoor Championships in Valencia, Fasuba won the 60 metre sprint gold medal and was also part of the team which include; Deji Aliu, Aaron Egbele and Uchenna Emedolu, that won bronze medal in men's 4 x 100 metres relay in 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

The 35-year-old currently hold the record of fastest African of all time with a time of 9.85s.

ACHIEVEMENTS
1. Gold medal - Men's 100 m (Afro-Asian Games, Hyderabad 2003).
2. Bronze medal - Men's 4 x 100 m relay (Athens 2004 Summer Olympics).
3. Silver medal - Men's 100 m (Commonwealth Games, Melbourne 2006).
4. Gold medal - Men's 100 m (All-Africa Game, Algiers, 2007).
5. Gold medal - Men's 4 x 100 m relay  (All-Africa Game, Algiers, 2007).
6. Gold medal - Men's 100 m (2008 World IAAF Indoor Championship, Fasuba in Valencia).
