Manchester United eye swap deal for Leicester City midfielder

Manchester United are set to go into a swap deal to secure the service of Leicester City midfielder James Maddison, despite Brendan Rodgers confirmation that non of his team members will be allowed to leave in January but United are preparing Jesse Lingard to better the deal.

United are desperate to land the midfielder at Old Trafford with £45m plus England International Jesse Lingard.

The impressive form of James Maddison this season has alerted several Premier Clubs to justle for the service of the player, but Manchester United are said to be the club leading the race to sign the Leicester City midfielder.

United has been faced with some level of inconsistencies in the midfield this season with Paul Pogba's injury claims and other factors, bringing Maddison to the Theatre of Dreams might just end United midfield nightmare.
