Injury crisis rocks Liverpool as eight key players are sidelined with injury

Naby Keita is the eighth player to join Liverpool FC injury list. The midfielder sustained a groin problem in the 2-0 win over Sheffield United. Other players that are on the sidelines are; defenders Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne, midfielders Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho and forward Rhian Brewster.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have some difficult dicision to make when they face Everton in FA Cup Merseyside derby third round.

Liverpool are currently sitting at the top of the English Premier League log with 13 points clear after 17 games.

Klopp may be forced to sign new players during the January transfer window with the recent injury crisis in the team.
