Arsenal target out of favour Real Madrid midfielder

Report from Spain suggest that Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez as Mikel Arteta is keen on bolstering his squad before the close of the January transfer window.

According to AS a Spanish Publication, Mikel Arteta is close to adding a 'quality reinforcement' such as Rodriguez to his squad this month.
The Colombian who spent the last two season with Bayern Munich is valued at around £34m by the Spanish Giants, but the Gunners will prefer getting the player on loan.

The midfielder is believed to be out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu after spending two years on loan in Germany.

With few days left in the January transfer window, Arsenal will have to act fast if they must land the 28-year-old midfielder.
