Leicester City of England are in the best interest of the club discussing possibilities of increasing the wages of their hot Nigerian employee Wilfred Ndidi.
The Foxes who are the second best team in the English Premier League this current 2019/2020 season are doing all they can to keep their fantastic squad intact for 2020 and beyond as top teams in Europe are reported to be waiting for the transfer window for some shopping.
In the past few seasons especially after winning the League by surprise in the 2015/2016 campaign, Leicester City have counted their loses as they couldn't keep the likes of Chelsea's workaholic N'golo Kante and Manchester City Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez while they also sold highly rated defender Harry Maguire to Manchester United in the Summer.
Club gaffer Brendan Rodgers has found the rhythm to the beat so far this season with the Leicester City players playing beyond expectation with them currently on eight league games winning streak as their only defeat in the league came courtesy of European Champions and flowing league leaders Liverpool.
Wilfred Ndidi has been in the midst of good things happening at the King Power this term and big clubs are ready to break the bank for the 22-year-old former Genk enforcer.
In the summer of 2018, the Super Eagles distributor signed new six-year contract With Leicester City Football Club keeping him at King Power Stadium until June 2024.
But with him currently on £75,000 weekly, the Leicester City are hoping to tie the Nigerian excellent tackler down with a pay rise as Spanish giants FC Barcelona are said to be the latest big investors ready to cash in for the interceptor.
Wilfred Ndidi has featured in many league games for Leicester City this term and he scored one goal each in the games against Chelsea and Newcastle United.
He has also been linked to clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United while the likes of Caglar Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell, James Maddison, Youri Tielemans and Ricardo Pereira are also the toast of big teams.
