Kelechi Iheanacho Removed for Bad Behaviour

Super Eagles Striker Kelechi Iheanacho was pulled off and substituted moments before Half-Time by Brendan Rodgers for an act of 'poor sportsmanship'.

Leicester City hope to continue their fine run of form when they hosted Norwich City at the king power hoping to close the gap on Liverpool who had won Watford  earlier in the day.

Nigeria golden boy Kelechi Iheanacho made the starting eleven for the second week running after falling out of favour for long time as he hope to continue his recent goalscoring exploits for the Foxes.

Norwich City were the better side in the early period and their goal eventually came, as a simple but incisive ball from Emiliano Buendia slicing open City’s defence, Teemu Pukki beating Caglar Soyuncu in a race and chopping the ball into the bottom corner.
Coming to an end was Jamie Vardy’s scoring streak. The striker thought he had netted for the ninth game in a row when he ran across the front post to flick home former Norwich man James Maddison’s corner. But the Premier League decided that Tim Krul was actually the scorer, the Canaries’ keeper palming into his own net with Vardy’s effort flying wide but the home supporters are satisfied with an equalizer in the 38th minute.

 A minute later Kelechi Iheanacho was substituted by Brendan Rodgers for Leicester City for an act of 'poor sportsmanship' according to quite a few fans.

The Nigerian Striker was given the ball to put out of play due to an injury to a Norwich City player. However, instead of giving the ball back, Iheanacho ran with the ball to try and capitalise on the moment.

The Striker was taken out outside the Norwich box and was promptly pulled by Brendan Rodgers.

Fans on Twitter have had their say on the bizarre moment, mostly agreeing with Rodgers' decision, but some fans believed it was good from Iheanacho to seize the moment.

Norwich are incensed. Iheanacho, having been given the ball out of courtesy following an injury, refuses to give it back. He attacks and is brought down on the edge of the box. You don't see that too often .- The Tactical Times (@Tactical_Times)

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored two goals in two premier league starts this current campaign and Leicester City are now trailing Liverpool by 10 points.
