Chelsea star Marcos Alonso is set to leave the club for Inter Milan in January, Calciomercato reports.
The 28-year-old left-back has been missing out regularly in Chelsea's first-eleven line since the arrival of Frank Lampard as Chelsea Manager.
It has been reported that Italian outfit Inter Milian could land the Spaniard in January at the San Siro Stadium when the January transfer window opens.
Inter Milan former striker Antonio Cassano has also advised Inter to sign Marcos Alonso to improve Inter defence line, "What do Inter need to do in January? They need to sign Marcos Alonso for the defence, Arturo Vidal for the midfield and someone like Olivier Giroud for the attack. With these players, Inter could really fight to the end for the title," Cassano told Italian Broadcaster Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka.
After 15 games, Inter are sitting at the top of the Serie A log with 38 points to their credit.
