Nigeria Golden Boy tipped to Become Leicester City Messiah

Super Eagles out of favour striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has been tipped to become Leicester City messiah in the Premier League at the ongoing 2019/2020 season.

Kelechi Iheanacho has been a continuous omission for the impressive Leicester City this term as the Brendan Rodgers tinkered team are currently second on the ever competitive English Premier League with 29 points and are just six points behind cruising leaders Liverpool.
The free-scoring Foxes are the second most prolific team in the English top tier with 29 goals while Manchester City are ruthless with 35 goals so far. But it has not been rosy for former Manchester City attacking prodigy who has not contributed to the good run of the 2015/2016 champions.

Popular Leicester City website, Leicester Mercury have listed Kelechi Iheanacho as one of the six fringe stars who could prove vital to Leicester City's top-four hopes.
The publication that had the likes of Demarai Gray, Marc Albrighton, Hamza Choudhury, Wes Morgan, Dennis Praet recognize the potency of Kelechi Iheanacho and also rated him as the ideal alternative for the current Premier League top scorer Jamie Vardy.

"Rodgers has backed Iheanacho, but he doesn't seem to trust him.

The Nigerian youngster hasn't made a single league appearance, only making the bench four times.

But Rodgers will almost certainly have to lean on him over the next couple of months,Jamie Vardy is fit and firing, showing no signs of slowing down at the top of the goalscoring charts.
But he is 32, and Rodgers will need to manage his game time, particularly in those games leading up to the big ones against Manchester City and Liverpool.

Ayoze Perez could serve as an option in that regard, but Iheanacho is likely to see at least some game time, unlike the start of the season when he has barely made the squad." LeicesterMercury.co.uk wrote.

Kelechi Iheanacho has only featured for Leicester City twice this term but in the Carabao Cup and he was able register his name on the scorers sheet against Burton Albion and Luton Town.
