Nkana gunned down in a thick forest, as Kabwe Warriors unbeaten run called to an end

A 75th minute goal from Peter Mwangani was enough to pick a first win of the season for the Perry Mutapa tutored side Forest Rangers. The Rangers who have had a rough start of the season after finding it hard to picking up maximum point's record their first win of the season and this result sees them go 10th on the log with 5 points after picking up two wins and a loss in their first game of the season.

Nkana have now gone two back to back game's without a win and that result has seen them drop to 8th position on the log table with only 6 point's from the possible 12 points.

Elsewhere, Napsa Stars played host to Red Arrows at the Woodlands Stadium in the late hour kick of if the double header. The two team's battled it out to a barren draw which saw the two share the spoils. The two teams are yet to loss a game and have since gone to 10 point's each with Napsa Stars leading the park with a better goals difference.

In the early lunck kickoff, the Elite Dynamos suffered to yet another defeat in the hands of the Army men Green Buffaloes who edged them to a 2-1 scoreline. Green Buffaloes who were fresh from a loss against league debutant Kansanshi Dynamos beat Lusaka Dynamos who have since gone three games without a win. It is clear that alot of work still needs to be done by the Elite Dynamos who seem to be having serious challenges.

In Kabwe it ended 1-0 in favor of the visitors Buildcon. A goal from Isaac Shamujompa is all that Buildcon needed to put an end to Kabwe Warriors unbeaten run.
