Green Beret FC and Flamingos FC of Kaduna to lock horns in warm up game

The Nigerian Army Football Team popularly known as Green Beret will today Friday 21st of June slug it out with Flamingos FC of Kaduna in a warm game ahead of their next league game against Real Stars of Kaduna.

The purpose of the game is to prepare the team ahead of their home League match against Real Stars. The Chief Coach of the team Adamu Abdullahi told Nigfooty.com in a chat that, "all the hard work, sacrifices is to prepare the team for our next home league match against Real Star FC of Kaduna, it all comes down to 90 minutes. When we step on that field, we are playing for 90 minutes, 90 minutes that will never come back, this 90 minutes can determine our future, and the future of the team.
During this limited time we must work harder than the rest, no matter what the scoreboard says, we must give all we have, no matter what anyone says. This game is unpredictable, at a moment it feels like you’re losing and in the next you might be winning, everyone wants to win, but one thing is sure, when you’re walking down that tunnel, when we step on the field we know in our heart there will only be one winner, because we will not accept anything else than wining."

The match will kickoff by 4:00Pm Nigeria time, at Dogarawa Stadium in Zaria.

A win for the Abdullahi led side will keep them in good shape for their next home game against Real Stars FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
