Bordeaux of France star, Samuel Kalu have been medically cleared to compete for the Super Eagles at the ongoing Total Africa Cup of Nations taking place currently in Egypt.
The 21-year-old winger collapsed yesterday during training in what was feared to be cardiac arrest but was later confirmed to be stable courtesy of an official statement from the Nigeria Football Federation with timely intervention of Egyptian doctor Ahmed.
A doubt was casted about his well-being with the Nigeria Football Federation informing the Confederation of Africa Football(CAF) about an alternative of replacing the youngster with Leicester City striker,Kelechi Iheanacho before the kick-off of the Super Eagles match against the Swallows of Burundi.
The medical examination conducted confired that he just suffered from dehydration and not heart attack.
