Liverpool trio tears Arsenal's defence apart

Liverpool trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane were the star players when Liverpool defeated Arsenal on Saturday evening at Anfield.
Though Arsenal took the lead in the 11th minute of the encounter following Iwobi run from the left wing that provided a cross that gave a easy tap in to Maitland-Niles. Three minutes later Roberto Firmino restored parity for Liverpool after poor clearance in Arsenal's defence earned Firmino the chance to send the ball in an empty net.

Liverpool took the lead for the first time in 16th minute after Roberto Firmino successfully deleted two Arsenal defenders before putting the ball beside Leno.
In the 32nd minute of the first half, it was Sadio Mane that registered another goal for Liverpool to take the scoreline to 3-1 in favour of Liverpool, thanks to Mohamed Salah for the assist.

Mohamed Salah made it 4 for Liverpool from the spot in the first half added time (45'+2) after he was brought down in Arsenal's 18-yard-box. The first half ended 4-1 in favour of the host.

In the second half of the thrilling encounter, Firmino got his hat-trick of the evening in the 65th minute after successfully converting a penalty kick for Liverpool following a controversial penalty awarded to the host, a situation that looked like a Liverpool player was pushed down in Arsenal defence area.
Arsenal defence should be questioned for some of the goals scored by Liverpool in the encounter.

Though Arsenal put up a good fight to bring themselves back into the game but Liverpool were equal to the task.

Liverpool are now 9 points clear on the log following Tottenham 3-1 defeat to Wolverhampton.

After the entire game duration, it Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal, so it ended at Anfield on Saturday evening.
