Super Six : MFM Book a Finale Spot

Lagos based club MFM FC are through to the final of the Nigerian Professional Football League despite playing a 1-1 draw with the Hosts Kano Pillars.

Both teams eyeing a top position in Group B after managing a draw in their respective opening matches against Akwa United.

The Caf Champions League contenders opens the score through usual suspect Adekunle Adegboyega. The striker pokes home after Mohammed Yusuf spilled his initial effort to his path with just 3minutes on the clock.
Sai Masu Gida responded 12minutes later in spectacular fashion as Alassan Ibrahim level up matters for the home side. A cross field ball was laid to his path by Nyima Nwangua and the midfielder shows appreciation with a screamer that went beyond Abayomi Folarin.

Efforts from both teams to find a winner proved abortive as the Olokoya boy scale through by superior goal difference after all the teams in Group B finished with 2points apiece.
MFM will play Group A winners CHAN Eagles in the final on Sunday slated for the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
