Super Six : Flood Lights Shine Goals as Promise Keepers Cease Fire

Aiteo Cup champions Akwa United slug it out with Lagos based MFM FC in the Super Six Pre Season tournament competition at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

Two sides touted to be the most entertaining teams in the NPFL aspiring to do well in CAF Competitions next season.

The early exchanges saw MFM dominating a tired Akwa United that played the Alhan cup final 24hours ago.
After a goalless first 45minutes,Play was halted by the stadium floodlights for few minutes around the 50th minute mark.

Light ON and it shine goals as the Olukoya Boys opens the scoring through Adekunle Adegboyega from close range in the 56th minute.

Akwa United kept the goal promise as they replied immediately through Otegbeye whose fierce shot was too fast for Custodian Folarin six minutes after the hour mark.

All efforts for a winner proved abortive as both sides share the spoils in Group B.
