FIFA U-17 WWCQ: Ethiopia Force Flamingoes to a flamboyant draw

The National U-17 women team of Ethiopia put up an impressive result following a 1-1 draw in their FIFA U-17 world cup qualifier against Powerhouse, Nigeria.

Flamingoes favourite going into the match after featuring in all U-17 world cup finals took a deserved lead through Joy Jerry in the 18th minute.

Ethiopia fought hard and got a reward for their resolute in the 63rd minute through Tarikow Debiso to secure an impressive 1-1 draw for the host in Addis Ababa on Sunday evening.

It is now all to play for in the second leg slated for Benin City on Saturday 16th of December 2017 as the winner proceed into the final round of qualifier schedule for February 2018 as road to Uruguay 2018 becomes increasingly interesting.
