● Ikechukwu Ezenwa is enjoying every moments as the Super Eagles Goalkeeper and the Man of the match award was won by the FC Ifeanyi Ubah custodian in the first half where he made four outstanding saves.
His Kidiaba's goal celebration is also spicy.
● Rabiu Ali is a top class player, At 36 (will be 37 before the end of this month), he is balling and causing havoc with Sharp turns and mature dribbles.
The Kano Pillars legend was involved in almost all the attacking moves and was unlucky not to score a goal but he brilliantly set up Peter Eneji for the second goal.
● Stephen Eze is an intelligent Azubuike Egwekwe, the FC Ifeanyi Ubah defender is an aerial threat offensively and very tough defensively. He's also Agile and fast.
● Salisu Yusuf is a smart Coach, he made good substitutions and it nearly turn the tough tie into a whitewash.
● 4-4-2 Formation : The formation was a burden on the team with Anthony Okpotu made to drop deeper into the rowdy midfield for Eduwo who was playing slightly in advanced row.
Afeez Aremu and Samuel Matthias were completely inactive on the flanks which over-laboured Ifeanyi Ifeanyi and Ali for Creativity.
Eduwo and Okpotu had little room to operate while their ball holding style of play made Leone Stars overshadowed them but the one touch style of Peter Eneji, Ubong Friday and Okechukwu Gabriel opened the defence in the last 12 minutes.
● The team is dynamic and blessed with some great individuals.
Rabiu Ali, Osas Okoro and Chima Akas are free-kick specialists unlike the main Super Eagles where every setplay revolves around Victor Moses.
Osas Okoro is one of the most consistent performers in the NPFL over the years and he will make a great contribution as main Super Eagles Right Back if given the opportunity.
Ghana Versus Nigeria will be great to watch on Thursday.
