Ex-Golden Eaglets captain Kelechi Nwakali has hit the ground running in the Dutch Eredivisie after scoring on debut for VVV-Venlo on Sunday.
The 19-year-old midfielder is spending the 2017/2018 season on loan from Arsenal after a loan stint at Eerste Divisie side MVV Maastricht last season.
Nwakali who was the 2015 U-17 world cup Golden Ball Award winner replaced Hunte in the 75th minute while away against FC Groningen.
He scored the equalizer in stoppage time to level the tie for VVV Venlo who were trailing by a 15th minute goal by finishing a lovely inter-change of passes to head home for the visitors.
Venlo are 8th on the league table with 7points after 4matches.
