Opposition Watch : Mashaba Still Has a Chance to Lead Bafana to Nigeria

Shakes Mashaba of South Africa who was asked to step down as Bafana Bafana Coach late last year after a clash with FA President Danny Jordaan on the Pitch after a World Cup Qualification match with Senegal.

Mashaba reported SAFA to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration on what he claims was an unfair dismissal after the local football board found him guilty of misconduct and subsequently released him of his duties in December.
Mashaba is intent on getting his job back, with the tactician having set his sights on leading the country to the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
Mashaba’s legal representative, Claudio Bollo, has confirmed the date with CCMA and expressed hope that the matter be resolved before considering the need for possible arbitration.
"The main purpose of conciliation is to to try to see if both parties can find solution before moving to the next step,” Bollo tells KickOff.com .

SAFA are yet to appoint a replacement in the Bafana hot seat, although former Real Madrid coach Carlos Queiroz has been linked with the now vacant role.
Bafana Bafana of South Africa will face Nigeria in June for in place in Afcon 2019.
