The Confederations of African Football have announced Iwobi,Iheanacho,Etebo,Omagbemi,Oshoala amongst the nominees for various other categories at the 2016 Glo-CAF awards.
Asisat Oshoala who was the topscorer of Awcon was named along with other four for Women's player of the Year as Florence Omagbemi will be challenging for Coach of the Year.
Arsenal Starlet, Alexander Iwobi is looking like favourite to capture Youth Player of the Year while Oghenekaro Etebo will be hoping to retain the Caf Most promising Talent award he won in 2015 but against Compatriot,Kelechi Iheanacho.
Meanwhile, The Dream Team popularly known as Nigeria U-23 national team will be hoping to win the National team of the year award for winning Bronze medal at Rio 2016 while after another continental success,Super Falcons will contest for the Women's national team of the year.
The awards gala will take place in Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday January 5.
