Super Eagles Squad Announced for AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Against Benin and Rwanda

Nigeria's head coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has announced the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming AFCON 2025 qualifiers against Benin Republic on November 14, 2024, and Rwanda on November 18, 2024. The squad features a mix of familiar faces and fresh talent as Nigeria aims to secure their spot in the Africa Cup of Nations.

A notable inclusion in the squad is striker Victor Osimhen, who makes his return alongside Sadiq Umar, strengthening Nigeria’s attacking options. Defender Victor Chukwuemeka Collins from Nasarawa United also earned his first call-up to the national team, marking an important milestone in his career. Surprisingly, Taiwo Awoniyi has been left out, despite his recent form, which has stirred some discussion among fans and analysts.
