As the countdown to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers intensifies, the Super Eagles camp in Uyo is already buzzing with activity. Early arrivals have set the tone for what promises to be a highly competitive squad under the watchful eyes of Coach Austin Eguavoen.
The first players to report to camp were goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie, showing a great level of commitment by arriving early to begin preparations. They were soon joined by an exciting batch of talents this morning, which includes the in-form striker Victor Boniface, dynamic winger Samuel Chukwueze, and midfielders Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Frank Onyeka, and Raphael Onyedika.
As the day progresses, more players are expected to arrive and complete the squad, giving Eguavoen the full complement of his team ahead of their first training session scheduled for 5 PM today. The session will allow the coach to assess the players' fitness and readiness for the upcoming match, as the Super Eagles aim to secure their place in AFCON 2025.
