Ikorodu City FC finally secured their first victory of the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with a commanding 3-0 win against Bendel Insurance. After five winless outings, the Lagos-based side turned their fortunes around in emphatic fashion at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan waterfront. 

The hosts dominated the match from start to finish, stunning Bendel Insurance with a solid all-round performance.
