Algeria Dominates Togo with 5-1 Comeback Victory in AFCON Qualifiers

On October 10, 2024, Algeria secured a dominant 5-1 victory over Togo in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification match held at the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba. Despite Togo's Thibault Klidje scoring first in the 11th minute, Algeria quickly equalized with Saïd Benrahma netting in the 29th minute. Benrahma then converted a penalty in the 55th minute, followed by goals from Houssem Aouar (68'), Amine Gouiri (86'), and Mohamed Amoura (90+5') to seal the win. 

This victory marked Algeria's third consecutive triumph, keeping them at the top of Group E.
