Super Eagles Intensify Preparations for AFCON 2025 Qualifiers

As the AFCON 2025 qualifiers draw near, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are ramping up their preparations with a crucial training session held yesterday at the God'swill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo. This session marks the second of its kind as the team gears up for their upcoming fixtures.

Out of the 23 players invited to camp, 22 were present at the Wednesday's training. The squad is getting ready for two significant matches: the first against Benin Republic on September 7, 2024, at home in Uyo, followed by an away clash with Rwanda in Kigali on September 10, 2024.

Notably, Victor Osimhen, who has recently made a high-profile move to Galatasaray, is expected to join the team today after a brief delay.

The Super Eagles are focused on securing positive results in these opening qualifiers to set the tone for their AFCON 2025 campaign. Fans are eager to see how the team will perform under the guidance of their new coaching staff led by Austin Eguavoen, as they aim for a strong start in the Qualifiers.
