Abdullahi Isa Appointed Head Coach of Supersand Eagles

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering Nigeria’s Supersand Eagles, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Abdullahi Isa as the new Head Coach. This decision marks a significant shift in leadership, with Isa transitioning from his role as a veteran goalkeeper to take the reins of the national beach soccer team.

Isa brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having not only excelled as a player but also served as an assistant coach for the team in recent years. Assisting Isa in his coaching duties will be Christopher Kadiri, appointed as Assistant Coach, and Bashar Samaila, who will take charge as the Goalkeepers’ Trainer. Their expertise and support are expected to further strengthen the team’s technical setup and enhance player development.

The playing body under Isa’s tutelage includes seasoned athletes such as Victor Tale and Emeka Ogbonna, whose experience and skills will be pivotal on the sand. Joining them are Arome Isah, Adams Taiwo, Emmanuel Ohwoferia, Godwin Tale, Egan-Osi Ekujimi, Chidozie Frank, and Hassan Abdullahi, all of whom bring unique strengths to the team.

The NFF’s decision reflects a commitment to nurturing and promoting talent within Nigerian beach soccer, aiming to achieve greater success both domestically and on the international stage. With Abdullahi Isa at the helm and a talented squad at his disposal, expectations are high for the Supersand Eagles as they prepare for upcoming challenges and competitions.
