Super Eagles Camp Update: 15 Players Confirmed, More Expected

The Super Eagles camp has come alive with the arrival of 15 players, marking an exciting phase for Nigerian football enthusiasts. Among the notable names currently in camp are midfield maestro Ndidi Wilfred, the prolific Kelechi Iheanacho, and the dynamic Samuel Chukwueze. The roster also includes talented Fisayo Bashiru and Terem Moffi, showcasing the team's depth and potential for the upcoming challenges.

The list further extends to encompass Stanley Nwabali, Sodiq of Remo Starts, and Kenneth from Rangers, each bringing their unique skill set to bolster the squad. Goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke, alongside Benjamin Tanimu and Ibrahim Olawoyin, who plies his trade in Turkey, add layers of experience and versatility to the lineup.

Completing the current roster are Boniface Victor, Raphael Onyedika, Chidozie Awaziem, and Alhassan Yusuf, rounding off a formidable ensemble under the guidance of the coaching staff.

Nigeria is gearing up for two pivotal World Cup Qualifying matches in June 2024. The Super Eagles will host South Africa on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, with kickoff scheduled for 20:00 WAT. This match is crucial for Nigeria as they look to secure maximum points.

Following this home fixture, the team will travel to Abidjan to face Benin Republic on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny. The Nigerian side aims to collect the maximum points from these two encounters to bolster their chances of qualifying for the next FIFA World Cup.
