The Nigeria National League (NNL) has sealed a five-year agreement with reputable sportswear manufacturing company, Pro Star Sports International, as its official partner.
Pro Star Sports International is an offshoot of Zenith Sports, a leading Nigerian outfit in sportswear branding, and the owners of Haggai Sports Products, known for their general sports equipment.
In a well-attended ceremony at the corporate office of Enugu Rangers, current leaders of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in Enugu, South East Nigeria, the Chief Executive Officer of Pro Star, Dr. Paul Maduakor, announced the deal. The agreement includes kit sponsorship and official match balls for the NNL.
The Aeromax ball, provided under this deal, is made to the highest standards and is expected to stand the test of time. As part of the agreement, the NNL is set to receive over 400 balls, with each of the eight teams in the Super 8 receiving 10 balls each.
Speaking at the signing ceremony and unveiling of the match balls, Dr. Maduakor expressed his gratitude to the NNL for this partnership. He emphasized that Pro Star is committed to enhancing its relationship with the league and bringing more value to it, aiming to make the NNL a more profitable venture and the envy of domestic football in the country.
Responding to Dr. Maduakor, NNL Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Attah, thanked him for choosing to partner with the most important league in Nigeria. Mr. Attah expressed confidence that it is only a matter of time before the NNL becomes the league everyone talks about.
The ceremony was also attended by the Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman, board members Hon. Yakubu Sarma, who is the head of the NNL Disciplinary Committee, and Mallam Sani Mohammed. Also present were the CEO of Enugu Rangers, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, Secretary of the Enugu State Football Association, Mr. Francis Ugwu, and ASP Igwe Kyrian, Security Chief of the Enugu State Football Association.
