Rosemary Chukwuma has just achieved a remarkable feat by running a massive personal best of 10.88s (+1.2) to win her 100m quarterfinal at the NCAA East Regionals. This incredible performance not only secures her spot at the NCAA Championships and the Olympics but also makes her the second fastest Nigerian woman in history, behind only Blessing Okagbare.
Chukwuma shaved 0.11s off her previous PB set in 2022, showcasing her exceptional form. She finished ahead of US duo of Ariane Linton, who clocked a personal best of 11.07s, and Jassani Carter, who finished in 11.09s.
Congratulations to Rosemary Chukwuma on this phenomenal achievement and for making history!
