The match saw Edo Queens' Chioma Moses open the scoring with a goal in the 34th minute, setting the tone for her team's dominant performance. Kafayat Mafisere extended their lead with another goal in the 39th minute, showcasing Edo Queens' offensive prowess. Despite a valiant effort from Heartland Queens, Emem Essien sealed the victory for Edo Queens with a goal in the 47th minute.
Although Heartland Queens managed to pull one back with Emmanuella James finding the net in the 69th minute, it was not enough to overcome Edo Queens' lead.
