NWFL: Robo Queens beat Edo Queens in Lagos

At the Onikan Stadium in Lagos on Wednesday FC Robo Queens outclassed Visitors Edo Queens with a 1-0 win in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Matchday 9 encounter.

Oladipo Shukurat scored the only goal of the game with a superb header from a corner kick in the 60th minute of the keenly contested encounter.

FC Robo now have 15 points from nine games which should take them to second spot in Group B, though the outcome of the game between Bayelsa Queens and Sunshine Queens will determine if the Lagos based team will stay in second or third position on Group B log after the remaining Matchday 9 which also holds today's Wednesday across Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Edo Queens has dropped to 4th position on Group B log after their matchday 9 loss against Robo Queens.
