Ghana Final 27-Man Squad for AFCON 2023

Ghana has released a list of 27 players that will represent the nation in the next Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire. The names on the list are;

Defenders: Daniel Amartey (Leicester City, England), Alexander Djiku (Fenerbahce, Turkey), Abdul Fatawu Hamidu (Medeama, Ghana), Gideon Mensah (Auxerre, France), Denis Odoi (Club Bruges, Belgium), Nicholas Opoku (Amiens, France), Mohammed Salisu (Monaco, France), Kingsley Schindler (Samsunspor, Turkey), Alidu Seidu (Clermont, France).

Ghana is in Group B alongside Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique. Ghana will open their 2023 AFCON Campaign with a game against Cape Verde on January 14th before facing Egypt and Mozambique in their two remaining group games. The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will hold between 13th January to 11th February, 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire.
