Burkina Faso Final 27-Man Squad for AFCON 2023

Burkina Faso has released a list of 27 players that will represent the nation in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire. The players on the list are;

Goalkeepers: Herve Koffi (Charleroi, Belgium), Hillel Konate (Chateauroux, France), Kilian Nikiema (ADO Den Haag, Netherlands), Sebastien Tou (Sabadell, Spain).

Defenders: Issa Kabore (Luton Town, England), Steeve Yago (Aris Limassol, Cyprus), Issoufou Dayo (RS Berkane, Morocco), Nasser Djiga (Red Star Belgrade, Serbia), Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen, Germany), Adamo Nagalo (Nordsjaelland, Denmark), Abdoul Guiebre (Modena, Italy), Valentin Nouma (Saint Eloi Lupopo, DR Congo).

Burkina Faso is in Group D alongside Angola, Algeria and Mauritania. Burkina Faso will kick off their 2023 AFCON Campaign against Mauritania on January 16th before facing Algeria and Angola respectively in their two remaining group games. The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will hold between 13th January to 11th February, 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire.
