Morocco’s Final 27-Man Squad for AFCON 2023

Morocco has released a list of 27 players that will represent the country in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d' Ivoire. The tournament which holds from 13th January to 11th February 2024. The players are;

Goalkeepers: Yassine Bonou (Al-Hilal), El mehdi Benabid (Far Rabat), M. Mohand (Al Wehda).

Defenders: Achraf Hakimi (PSG), Noussair Mazraoui (Bayern Munich), Nayef Aguerd (West Ham), Ghanem Saiss (Al-Shabab), Yunis Abdelhamid (Reims), Yahya Attiat Allah (Wydad), Abdelkabir Abqar (Alaves), Chadi Riad (Real Betis), Mohamed Chibi (Pyramids).

Midfielders: Sofyan Amrabat (Manchester United), I. Saibari (PSV), Azzeddine Ounahi (Marsella), Amine Harit (Galatasaray), Bilal El Khannouss (Genk), Selim Amallah (Valencia), Oussama El Azzouzi (Bolohna), A. Richardson (Reims).

Forwards: Hakim Ziyech (Galatasaray), Ez Abde (Real Betis), Tarik Tissoudali (Gent), Ayoub El kaabi (Olympiacos), Youssef En-Nesyri (Sevilla), Amine Adli (Bayer Leverkusen), Sofiane Boufal (Al Rayyan).

Morocco is in Group F alongside Tanzania, Zambia and DR Congo and will kickoff their campaign against Tanzania on January 17th before playing DR Congo and Zambia subsequently in their remaining two Group games.
