Facts about this Design: Not the New Nigeria Jersey for AFCON 2023

It's few days to the kickoff of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire, and many have been seeing the above design as the new Nigeria Jersey produced by Nike for upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Contrary to many opinions and media posts, the Jerseys were not produced by Nike the Super Eagles kits maker, neither are they the designs for Nigeria 2023 AFCON campaign.

The Jerseys were designed by a Nigerian Artist, though it looks very nice, having a resemblance of 1994 AFCON Jersey design, but not in anyway designed by Nike and not for Super Eagles AFCON campaign.

Since the Jersey have been circulating the social media, no statement from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to make it official.

Super Eagles 2023 AFCON Jersey has not been released by Nike.
