Angola Final 26-Man Squad for AFCON 2023

Angola has released a list of 26 players that will represent the country in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire. The names on the list are;

Goalkeepers: Antonio Dominique (Etoile Carouge, Switzerland), Kadu (Oliveira Hospital, Portugal), Neblu (Premeiro Agosto, Angola)

Defenders: Eddie Afonso, To Carneiro, Kinito (all Petro Atletico, Angola), Loide Augusto (Alanyaspor, Turkey), Jonathan Buatu (Valenciennes, France), Nurio Fortuna (Gent, Belgium), Kialonda Gaspar (Estrela Amadora, Portugal).

Midfielders: Beni (Casa Pia, Portugal), Estrela (Erzurumspor, Turkey), Fredy (Eyupspor, Turkey), Keliano Manuel (Estrela Amadora, Portugal), Bruno Paz (Konyaspor, Turkey) Show (Maccabi Haifa, Israel).

Angola is in Group D alongside Algeria, Burkina Faso and Mauritania. Angola will kick off their 2023 AFCON Campaign against Algeria on January 15th before facing Mauritania and Burkina Faso respectively in their two remaining group games. The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will hold from 13th January to 11th February, 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire.
