Algeria Final 26-Man Squad for AFCON 2023

Algeria has released the list of 26 players that will represent the country in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire. The tournament which kicks off from January 13th to 11th February, 2024. The names in the list are;

ALGERIA FINAL 26-MAN SQUAD FOR AFCON 2023

Goalkeepers: Anthony Mandrea (SM Caen), Rais M’bohli (Belouizdad), Ousamma Benbot (USM Alger).

Defenders: Youcef Atal (Nice), Kevin Guiton (Metz), Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolverhampton), Yasser Larouci (Sheffield United), Aissa Mandi (Villareal), Amine Tougai (Esperance Tunis), Ramy Bensabaini (Dortmund), Ahmed Touba (Lecce), Zineddine Belaid (USM Alger).

Midfielders: Nabil Bentaleb (Lille), Sofiane Feghouli (Fatih Karagumruk), Houssem Aouar (AS Roma), Fares Chaibi (Frankfurt), Ramiz Zerrouki (Feyenoord), Hicham Boudaoui (OGC Nice), Ismael Bennacer (AC Milan).

Forwards: Riyad Mahrez (Al Ahli SC), Adam Ounas (Lille), Amoura (Union SG), Amine Gouiri (Stade Rennais), Youcef Belaili (MC Alger), Baghdad Bounedjah (Al Sadd), Islam Slimani (Coritiba).


Algeria is in Group D alongside Angola, Burkina Faso and Mauritania. Algeria will kick off their 2023 AFCON Campaign against Angola on January 15th before facing Burkina Faso and Mauritania respectively in their two remaining group games.
