HIFL23 - FUOYE Dazzlers continues preparation for the new HIFL 23' season football competition

By Daniel Oriloye - After the last season silver medal triumph, the Federal University Oye Ekiti Football team,  FUOYE Dazzlers continues their top form intensity for the new season of the Higher institution Football league.

The team which finished as the best runner up last season, is set to start another bright form of display away from home, against their fellow southwest counterpart, OAU Giants, the Obafemi Awolowo University Football team, at the University Main bowl, Ile-ife in Osun State, by 11am, tomorrow 23 August, 2023.

The team, FUOYE Dazzlers lost their first pre-season match against AAUA, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Football team by a goal to nil.

Speaking with the team Head Coach, Blessing Ayodeji. The team FUOYE Dazzlers has been on a high level of preparation towards the new season and part of the preparation is the pre-season match against a prestigious university, OAU, to know the level at which we have got into and more also to be able to access the players and the team. I have great believe and confidence in the team that we will perform brilliantly more than last season. We are going for the trophy this year, and the team is battle ready to give everything it entails to achieve this aim. We have been able to sign more brilliant players to solidify the team and also gotten better materials for adequate trainings to make the players be at their top performance. We have learnt from our performance last season and this will help us to have more successful season, this year. I can boldly say that this year, we are lifting the trophy and the team FUOYE Dazzlers will be decorated with the gold medal, he said.

He stated further, saying we also want to use this medium to call all our supporters who are the 12th members of this great team and also the school management to fully support the team towards achieving this great obligation. We are promising that we won't disappoint the University and also the supporters. God's grace we are bringing the HIFL 23' Trophy home, said the Coach.
