There is another twist to the battle and trades of words between the Nigeria Football Federation and the Head Coach of the Super Falcons Randy Waldrum over the general welfare of the team ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Head of NFF Communication Department, Ademola Olajire has again reacted to Randy Waldrum latest comments about the internal affairs of the Football Federation to the team.
Coach Waldrum in a podcast stated that NFF have not paid some players since over two years and was also demanding accountability from the NFF regarding FIFA funds not forgetting his concerns about a staff shortage.
According to the latest report from reputable journalist Samuel Oluwagbemi Ahmadu, Mr Olajire gave Coach Waldrum what Nigerians will tag "Gbas Gbos".
“Incompetent loudmouth has now found his voice since he’s about to achieve his only ambition of leading a team at the Women’s World Cup. Everyone knows FIFA pays preparation money for every team going to the Women’s World Cup. The team travelled to Japan to play matches, travelled to Mexico for a tournament, and travelled to Turkey to play matches.”
“The team is presently having a 15-day training camp in Gold Coast ahead of the Women’s World Cup. Is it Mr. Blabbermouth Waldrum who has been paying? He claims he’s been at the job because of the players. Bollocks. His entire objective has always been to add leading a team at the World Cup to his CV. Worst coach to have handled the Super Falcons of Nigeria by a country mile.”
