"FIFA Gave Nigeria $960,000 to Prepare for World Cup, Where is the Money?" - Coach Waldrum Blows Hot

As the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup is drawing nearer, the drama between the Nigeria Football Federation and the Head Coach of the Super Falcons continues with the latter opening more 'Can of worms'. Super Falcons gaffer, Randy Waldrum, has spoken up again about issues bedeviling the team and fingered Nigeria Football Federation about their administrative style with his team stepping up preparation for the best female football tournament.
"I saw the (NFF) response to my previous comments on the other podcast and it just seemed like a really childish response. "In two-and-a-half years that i have been here, i have never had one time that the Federation came to me and asked "What do you need Coach?". "What keeps me going is the players, otherwise i would have walked away from the job a long time ago. Up until three weeks ago, i had been owned 14 months salary and then they paid 7 months salary.
"We still have players that haven't been paid since two years ago when we played the summer series in the USA. It's a travesty. I'm not going to be quiet anymore. In October, every country was given $960,000 from FIFA to prepare for World Cup, where is that money? FIFA allows your staff to have up to 22 people but we only have 11. we don't have scouts to watch the team in our Group or potential opponents." Coach Randy Waldrum quoted via "The Whistle Podcast". Nigeria are in Group B alongside co-hosts Australia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.
