Tinubu congratulates Flying Eagles of Nigeria on their Round of 16 Feat

By Emmanuel Oladele - The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Nigeria U-20 National Men's Football Team for their Round of 16 2-0 win over Argentina in the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The President took to his Official Twitter page to congratulate the Glorious Flying Eagles in a post which reads as follows; "I congratulate our marvellous Flying Eagles for that sound 2-0 defeat of the host team, Argentina, to secure a quarter final slot at the U-20 World Cup.

I'm rooting for you guys, go and make us proud!"

The Flying Eagles are through to the Quarterfinal and will face the winners of the round of 16 game between Ecuador and South Korea.
