Terem Moffi Scores brilliant overhead kick, earn brace as OGC Nice draw Basel in Europa Conference League

Super Eagles and OGC Nice forward, Terem Moffi scored a brilliant overhead kick, earned a brace as French side OGC Nice played a 2-2 draw with Basel at St. Jakob-Park, Basel, Switzerland in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday.

The 23-year-old restored parity to his side in 38th with a superb effort, after Zeki Amdouni had earlier put the host in front in the 26th minute from the spot. In the added minutes of the first half, Moffi scored a brilliant overhead kick to put the French side in front. OGC Nice were leading by 2-1 scoreline until the 71st minute of the game when Zeki Amdouni grab another goal for the host to end the game on a 2-2 scoreline.

The Nigerian International has now scored back-to-back in the UEFA Europa Conference League, recall, Moffi scored in OGC Nice 3-1 win over Sheriff in round of 16 second leg in March.

Moffi will hope to continue his scoring form when they host Basel in France in the second leg of the Europa Conference league Quarter-final on Thursday 20th April, 2023.
