Shooting Stars trashed Gombe United to extend five game unbeaten run

By Daniel Oriloye - Shooting Stars Sports Club continued their brilliant run of form in the ongoing NPFL season after getting another fine win against visiting Gombe United at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday in the matchday 15 games.

Brilliant midfielder Malomo Toafeek opened the scoring for the Oluyole Warriors in the 41st minute, before Godwin Alao doubled the lead for the Oluyole warriors. Few minutes into the second half, Douglas Achiv extend the lead with the third goal through a nice flying header in the 67th minute to seal the club their biggest win of the season.

Shooting Stars have now extended their unbeaten streak to 5 games, the team is yet to taste a defeat since they lost to Akwa United in Uyo on Match Day 10.

3SC’s next game is an away fixture against Nassarawa United in Jos on April 30th.
